✅ New roof structure built
✅ Breathable membrane and roof battens installed

Another big milestone on our barn conversion! 🏡🔨

Around 100m² of floor screed completed, covering the new underfloor heating system throughout the ground floor.

A lot of preparation goes into getting to this stage — insulation, pipework, UFH installation, levels and preparation — before getting the screed down and finished ready for the next phase.

This project is really starting to take shape now. From an old agricultural barn to a completely new family home, we’ll keep sharing the transformation as we progress.

If you’re considering a barn conversion, extension, renovation or full property refurbishment, feel free to get in touch with Walker Renovations.

🏡 Barn Conversion Progress – Beachampton

Another big milestone reached on our Beachampton barn conversion.

The transformation is really starting to take shape now, with the internal structure well underway and the rooms beginning to come together.

🔨 Recent progress includes:

* Internal timber framing and room layouts
* First-fix electrics progressing
* Underfloor heating installed throughout the ground floor
* Floor preparation ready for screeding
* Roof and structural works progressing
* Openings prepared for the new windows and doors

Projects like this are a great example of what goes into turning an existing agricultural building into a completely new family home.

Plenty more to come over the next few weeks as we move onto insulation, boarding, screeding and the next stages of the first fix.

🏠 TWO-STOREY EXTENSION – TAKING SHAPE! 🧱🔨

Great progress on this two-storey extension. The transformation is really starting to take shape now, with the steelwork installed, floor joists going in and the brickwork well underway.

There’s been plenty involved to get the project to this stage, including major structural alterations to the existing property to create a much larger, more open living space.

Next up we’ll be continuing the masonry, getting the roof structure underway and pushing towards getting the extension fully watertight.

Another project where you can really start to see the extra space this extension is going to create. 👌

Still work to do before the finished reveal, but we’re looking forward to sharing the transformation! 👀
