Yesterday we took on the job in Wellsway, Bath....after works were completed poorly first time round we needed to assure the client that we would provide a sound and smart finish and they were extremely happy with the end result.....all the old lead ripped out (by hand as there was fixings into the wall) new chases cut and new lead installed, welded where required and we also capped the copings at the top to complete and water tight and smart finish.....onto the next job for us ⚒️

This chimney in Devizes had started leaked badly and it's clear to see why, minimal upstand on the soakers, apron cut on the corners instead of being dressed of welded....leaving a weak spot, so we ripped it out, cut and welded a new lead apron in, new soakers and cover flashings and also a saddled welded either side, then re-cemented the ridge back on ⚒️

Another project complete ⚒️

This project was a lovely one to take on, with the sun finally in our favour it couldn't have come at a better time. This roof was suffering with severe nail fatigue and an obvious lack of lead used on the roof along with any felt....so we've striped it all off, installed breather membrane along with 2x1 battens, saved as many of the older slates and re-holed them for reinstalling, complete new leadwork all around and a brand new Spanish slate to make up the short fall of slates, completed with a 75 degree angled clay ridge fixed with a dry ridge system. 1 very happy customer ⚒️

A garage we recently did for Frazer Nye Carpentry & Building

Roofshield and 2x1 batten for this 4 hip truss roof, Marley modern tiles in black, with dry hips, block end hip tiles and all hip cuts fixed with cro clips, a lovely addition to the main house!

Another job completed for Frazer Nye Carpentry & Building This was a lean to roof with a 3in1 Velux window, 2 single Velux windows and a wood burner flu to get around, slate grey Redland groveburys tiles with lead flashings and a UPVC dry verge system!

Before and after photos of a leaky chimney in bath! Upon initial inspection there were signs of water ingress all around this chimney so we pulled a few tiles off to reveal inadequate lead and tired felt, so we renewed the felt and the lead work around the chimney to provide a sound and watertight finish to this client! ⚒️

Here's some before and after shots of a job we completed in West Ashton for Frazer Nye Carpentry & Buildingall the old off and stripped back to bones, complete new configuration of the roof with a much bigger and better lay out! Marley modern tiles in smooth grey, UPVC dry verge caps, dry ridge system with lead valleys and soakers to complete⚒️

The latest project we have taken on was this new build extension in corsham, a hand cut roof with new breather membrane and battens,lead valleys, Marley Double Roman tile in antique brown with hips and ridge to match, brown UPVC verge caps and dry ridge and hips to help with roof ventilation, profiled tile vents and bird stop eaves trays. All in all a very happy client ⚒️
