✨ Something a little different for me this time!

An existing client — for whom I’d previously completed a large kitchen conversion and both bathrooms — originally asked me to just repoint the patio and re-lay a few loose slabs. But the project grew into something more: a low-maintenance garden with artificial grass, a couple of raised beds, and a neat, durable finish.

I think you’ll agree the transformation is quite something! 🌿 The oak sleepers were seriously heavy, but I’m really pleased with the joins — a sharp saw and chisels definitely earned their keep on this one.

Always rewarding to help clients enjoy their homes both inside and out.

Starting the refurbishment of the front of this house. Cracked and peeling paintwork on everything. Power washed the exterior, Fungicidal spray used and all cracks filled ready for painting. Railings wire brushed and three coats of black paint applied to them and the door. Sadly all the Victoriam tiles on the doorstep had to be removed, some have been saved to repair the path. New “Victorian Style” tiles have been bought…Stay tuned for the great reveal in due course…it will look great!

🔨 Another great project completed for one of my long-standing clients!

This time, they needed a new hardwood front door and frame — and as always, we delivered.

💪 Not the easiest task, especially when it needs to be removed and fully replaced in a single day for security reasons. Unlike a straightforward uPVC swap, this involved carefully taking out the old door, fitting the new one perfectly, and getting all the locks in place — all before the day was out.

Just swapped out a single-glazed, rotten wood window for a fresh double-glazed hardwood beauty. Sounds simple, right? Not when the original frame was charmingly wonky—like it belonged in a funhouse instead of a house. 😅 Took some patience (and a few extra cups of tea) to get everything sitting just right. But she’s in, solid, and looking sharp.

For this recent project, the brief was clear: open up the space by knocking down the wall between the kitchen and lounge-diner, then reconfigure with a new wall to create a spacious kitchen-diner. It’s amazing what a bit of clever planning and solid workmanship can achieve.

On top of that, we arranged and oversaw the installation of brand-new windows and doors throughout the property—giving the home a fresh, modern feel inside and out.

🛠️ From Lounge to Kitchen—Mission Accomplished!

The brief for this project? Install a brand-new kitchen in the client’s existing lounge. Not exactly a walk in the park when there’s no electrics, no gas, no water, and no drainage to start with. But we love a challenge—and the results speak for themselves.

Apparently, I’m much better at renovating homes than updating Facebook… it’s been over three years since my last post! My wife calls me the most secretive tradesman in the country and always laughs at how much work comes my way without a single advert.

Truth is, I’ve always believed you’re only as good as your last job. No flashy promos—just solid craftsmanship, happy clients, and word getting around.
