The year of the Horse!
I hung this great quality mural wallpaper by Happy Walls last week. Quite a bit of prep required beforehand - double sockets and switches had been removed, leaving voids in the plasterboard, so they were covered with metal mesh repair patches before floating out with filler. The feature wall was cross lined, and the remaining walls, ceiling and woodwork were colour drenched in Dulux Velvet Truffle 6.

The smallest room in the house but with big a impact! My client chose this paisley wallpaper by Bobi Beck, the ceiling and vanity unit are painted in Farrow and Ball Lichen, and the rope border tile is painted in Eating Room Red, which was a perfect match for the tiles. 😍

Almost there with this cute, little boys room 💙 As with most of this house the walls are probably 90% filler now! Once the woodchip was stripped the walls were in a terrible state with old, gritty, crumbling plaster. Lots of filler, sanding and then cross lined with wall rock fibrous paper before painting with Farrow & Ball's School House White on the ceiling and walls. Then I've used a mixture of 3 lovely Little Greene shades on the woodwork, fireplace, cot and wardrobe. Just the carpet to go in, the doors to rehang on the wardrobe once fully dry and a few finishing touches and this room will be the perfect room for 2 perfect little boys!

My client gave me free reign to transform her huge mirror. It was previously oiled teak which was lovely but didn't go well with her new furnishings. I chose a dark petrol blue and created a metallic paint effect to create this striking finish 😍

3 of 4 recently completed vanity units 😍

The bathrooms are windowless so it was a bit tricky to photograph. A carpenter made them out of mdf and unfortunately he left router grooves all over the surfaces which meant I had to fill and sand numerous times in order to get a smooth surface for painting, especially important under the critical lighting of spot downlights!

After lots of prep they were finished in the Farrow and Ball colours of Bone, Pigeon and Setting Plaster Eggshell.
