A complete transformation on Kettering Road.

This bathroom began as a cramped and awkward space, but some thoughtful planning, and plenty of skilled work, has completely changed how it looks and feels.

Our team formed the new room, insulated the walls and ceiling, installed the Velux windows, plastered throughout and completed the full bathroom fit-out.

The additional natural light makes an enormous difference, while the soft, warm colour palette helps the room feel calm, bright and far more spacious.

The tiles from Baked Tiles bring the whole scheme together beautifully, with the botanical feature wall adding just the right amount of character.

A great example of how considered design and quality workmanship can make even the most challenging space work harder.

A long-awaited addition to the Symington Building is finally taking shape… 🦅

As part of the restoration project, we’ve begun installing nesting boxes for Market Harborough’s peregrine falcons.

The birds have attempted to breed locally in recent years, but without a suitably sheltered nesting space. Their new home within the tower will provide greater protection for their eggs and, hopefully, give future generations of peregrines the best possible start.

WW Brown & Sons is proud to be sponsoring the nesting platform and live-feed cameras, working alongside Harborough District Council and local peregrine enthusiasts to make the project possible. We will of course share the live-feed link as soon as it is available.

Now we just need to wait for the new residents to move in!

Progress continues at the Symington Building.

With much of the scaffolding now removed from the front, attention has turned to the rear of the building for the next phase of works.

Roof and brickwork repairs, repointing, window repairs and decorating are all under way as we continue to carefully restore this important Market Harborough landmark.

As work continues at the Symington Building and sections of scaffolding begin to come down, we thought we’d take one last trip all the way to the top.

The climb gives a real sense of the scale of the project—before slowing down to take in a rather special view across our home town.

Our nursing home project is really starting to take shape, and these latest drone shots give a brilliant look at the scale of the site.

From the roof structures going up, to the layout of the buildings becoming clearer, it’s great to see the project coming together from above.

A busy site, plenty of progress, and some cracking views while we’re at it.
