On Monday I came across a social media post from a local resident who was worried about an elderly gentleman in our community. His electric boiler had broken some years ago and he’d been living with no heating ever since. He simply couldn’t afford to have it repaired, and with the colder weather creeping in, people were understandably concerned for his wellbeing.

I knew straight away that no one should be sitting in a freezing home, especially at this time of year. So I headed out the next day to see what I could do. After a good look over his system, I managed to get the boiler back up and running again.

In situations like this, it’s about doing what’s right, not what’s profitable. Sometimes our community needs us, and I’m in a position to help so I will.

A warm home shouldn’t be a luxury. I’m just glad he’s safe, comfortable, and has proper heating again.

Been a busy week this week finishing a few jobs including a kitchen with some lovely LED strip lighting & todays job at Mansfield Doggy Day Care Centre installing some IP rated rotary isolators for a new hydrotherapy pool, changing some accessories for water resistant accessories & upgrading the lighting with LED IP rated lights. 💡🛠
