A full house re-skim in Urmston.

Back in April we were over in Urmston for landlady Angela, a long-standing customer who we’ve completed a number of jobs for over the years.

This time it was a much bigger one – a full house re-skim, working alongside Curtis and Martin to get the property sorted from top to bottom.

Hallways, stairs, landings, bedrooms and more – plenty of walls and ceilings to get through!

Jobs of this size take organisation, teamwork and a fair amount of plaster, but the end result is a property with fresh, smooth surfaces ready for the next stage of its refurbishment.

Always good to be asked back by an existing customer too. Repeat business is something we never take for granted.

Making good after a new window installation in Rochdale.

We were over in Rochdale working alongside Jay, a window and door contractor, following the installation of this new window.

Once the new window was in place, the surrounding area needed properly making good rather than simply covering over what was left behind.

The area was prepared, plasterboarded where required, bonded and then skimmed to give a clean finish around the new window.

It's the sort of job that can make a big difference to the finished installation. New window in, surrounding plasterwork sorted, and the room ready for decorating.

If you've recently had new windows or doors fitted and need the surrounding plasterwork making good, get in touch with AMO Plastering Services.

Back working for a returning customer in Hale.

Melissa has used AMO Plastering Services for a number of jobs over the years, and this time we were brought in following damp issues affecting these walls.

The cause of the damp had already been rectified, so our job was to get the affected areas properly prepared and ready for a fresh finish.

As you can see from the photos, this involved more than simply putting a skim over the existing walls. Preparation and boarding were needed in areas before everything could be brought together and skimmed.

Another room given a fresh start and ready for the next stage.

It's always appreciated when customers come back to us for further work – thanks again, Melissa.

Altered the doorway? Now for the finishing touches.

A recent job for Nadeem in Bramhall where alterations to a door opening had left plastering work that needed making good.

AMO Plastering Services carried out the necessary repairs and plastering around the opening, getting everything neat and ready for decorating.

We don't just take on full rooms and large renovation projects. Smaller plastering repairs and making-good work are all part of the service too.

Had a doorway moved, widened or altered? Or perhaps other building work has left areas that need repairing?

Give AMO Plastering Services a shout.

What a difference a full skim makes.

This was Damo's dining room in Bramhall, completed by AMO Plastering Services back in April.

After the necessary preparation work, we skimmed the complete room – including that sizeable ceiling – to take the old, tired surfaces back to a smooth, consistent finish.

Swipe through the photos and you can really see the transformation from where we started.

Now it's a proper blank canvas ready for decorating and the next stage of the renovation.

Now THIS is a transformation worth swiping through!

Take a look at the journey of this room we worked on for Claire in Failsworth back in April.

There was plenty to tackle before the finishing plaster could go anywhere near the walls.

Repairs, preparation and making good came first, followed by a full skim of the room to create a smooth, consistent finish ready for decorating.

The difference between those first photographs and the finished room shows exactly why preparation matters.

Got a room with cracked, damaged, patched or tired-looking walls?

Don't assume they need ripping out and starting again. Let us take a look.

A bay window transformation completed back in March in Chorlton.

This project involved removing the old boards and re-boarding the entire bay using insulated plasterboard before giving it a fresh skim finish.

The result? A smooth, clean finish that's ready for decorating and an upgrade that helps improve the room's insulation too.

Another great project completed by Anton and the team.

Another completed commercial project from earlier this year.

Back in March, AMO Plastering Services worked alongside Curtis Buckley on a five-room HMO conversion in Bury for Map Building Contractors.

These photos show one of the rooms after we'd completed the plastering work.

Every wall and ceiling was finished to provide a smooth, professional surface ready for decorating and the next trades to move in.

Whether it's a family home, rental property or larger commercial development, we take pride in delivering a high-quality finish every time.
