My name is Scott and I'm a Yorkshire man in Lancashire (don't hold that against me). I left school at 16 to pursue a City and Guilds plumbing and heating apprenticeship which took 4 and half years on sight training and 1 day in college ( and low wages). On completion, I and a fellow apprentice wh
o were the first to pass with merit returned to do our final Gas Exams after which we were offered a part time teaching job under the wing of our tutor with further promise of employment. Although touched by the offer I turned it down ( I'd been one of those Know it all 16 year olds and knew how hard my tutor had it) to further educate myself in Boiler and system breakdowns and design. 8 years later i left my British Gas team in Halifax and joined the Old Trafford team for a further 4 years. Throughout these years I got certified in a number of qualifications and gained the necessary experience to confidently carry out diagnostics. After moving to Stretford i gained friendships from people who worked in other trades who required a reliable Plumbing and Gas engineer and from there on started C.H Heating Solutions.
