We also have several WRAS accredited RPZ valve testers for all makes of RPZ valve assemblies which require annual test and certification in accordance with AIM08 (WRAS Regulations). PressBoost know it is essential to maintain pressure vessels on a regular basis as the gas charge is critical to the good operation of the plant and to guarantee and extend the longevity of the equipment. In conjunction with this it should be noted that there are mandatory and statutory requirements under the P.S.S.R 2000 regulations, therefore we offer, fixed price standard maintenance packages on a bi-annual basis. Another successful pressure unit upgrade completed in the North East.

Our engineers replaced three faulty Armstrong pressure units with new Grundfos PHT pressurisation units, providing the site with a modern, reliable solution for maintaining system pressure.

The new Grundfos PHT units offer improved control and monitoring, helping to protect the system while providing dependable day-to-day operation.

Three old units removed, three new units installed and the site left with a reliable, efficient pressurisation setup.
All completed in a single day by PressBoost Engineers Antony Chesters, Andy Shelley, Will Thomas, Kieran Shields and Alfie Chesters.

Central Manchester - Apartment Block

💡Spotlight on a recent installation

We were recently called in to provide an alternative quote for this apartment block in Manchester City Centre.

✅ We provided the right solution and successfully won the job to replace the existing set which was considered end of life and down to 1-pump out of 3.

🔧 Our engineers attended during normal working hours with a planned interruption to water and made light work of this job. The existing pumps were significantly oversized 11kW. We re-sized this appropriately for the block and total demand fell on this new 5.5kW set. Still working Duty/Assist/Standby, this set is going to dramatically reduce the energy usage for this building.

Challenge begins next week! ⛰️💪🏻

Our engineering team at PressBoost is taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge on 2nd July to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Andrew Shelley, Carl Rogerson, Antony Chesters, John Murphy, Will Thomas, Kieran Shields and Alfie Chesters will be attempting to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. Starting at around 3AM in Scotland, they’ll take on all three peaks back-to-back, with Chris Brown and Adam Brown supporting on the road between climbs.

It’s a tough challenge, but it’s for an important cause ❤️
The British Heart Foundation continues to fund life-saving research into heart and circulatory diseases, helping to improve and extend lives across the UK.

The Pressboost team recently replaced a large water pump set at a premium busy office and apartment tower block in Central Manchester.
Water was turned off at 9am and the four engineer team of Antony, Carl, Will and Alfie completed the job by 1pm when the water was flowing again.
The new pump set was supplied by Fluid Water Group.
