These prefabricated self contained bathroom pods cost upwards of £2500. Shipped out as a sealed unit from the manufacturer, the pods are craned into position during the very early stages of construction. Occasionally, extensive damaged may occur during installation, but does not become apparent until the pods are unsealed during the latter stages, by which time seeking and installing a replacement is not possible. This pod received severe damage to the ceiling, which had split, pushed upwards and could not be repositioned. To repair the damage we had to fill the gap yet maintain and reform the correct profile to achieve a completely invisible repair.
