We've working on a couple of very different projects this summer. This one's a rather special timber framed roundhouse on the Pembrokeshire coast. One of the exciting builds we’ve been busy with - here’s Hassen Mzali leading our strawbale workshops on Strawbuild’s design for a large and beautiful round house with reciprocating roof that will serve as a communal building in Donegal at Lough Mardal Lodge.

We had a fantastic time at the Centre for Alternative Technology, introducing 40 new Msc and Architecture students to the joys of building with straw. We also got to experiment with some Miscanthus bales, creating the first ever temporary two-string Miscanthus bale structures in the world!
