Something a little different today! I was recently asked by a local catering provider to produce 20 miniature picnic benches for cream teas at a wedding. They might be small but the amount of work in them was surprising! I was glad when the last of the 260 pieces was fixed together and they were done! 😂

The end result was well worth it though and they looked brilliant at the wedding with all the food on. 🍰

Part 1 of this summer project I've been working on for some fantastic customers in Wigmore. The old, part slate, part perspex roof was leaky, cold in the winter, boiling hot in the summer and had made their garden room an unpleasant and unusable space over the past couple of years! 👎🏻
New felt, battens, lead work, and these synthetic slates from Britmet will hopefully keep the rain out for many years to come! With new insulation beneath, it should be a more usable space year round too and nice and cosy come winter with the log burner going!

This was the first time I'd used the Britmet Liteslates and was really impressed. Easy to work with, super light and allowing for a much shallow pitch than real slate, they were the perfect choice for this project.

Part 2, the inside, to follow!

Another recent kitchen and utility room job working alongside Shropshire Kitchens and Bathrooms for these lovely clients. The space is barely recognisable and turned out really well!
The integrated bench seat was a nice addition too, and will prove really useful once the custom cushions have been made for it. 👌🏼
New LVT click flooring and oak doors finished the job off nicely.

Something a little different for these book loving customers! 📚 Building this bespoke shelving unit from scratch was a fun little project and managed to house (most of) their collection! 😆 🪚🔨
The drawers were designed to fit suspension files to keep their paperwork nice and organised too.

Here's a nice flooring upgrade for a customer in Clun! Annoyingly I forgot to take photos once it was grouted and the plinths were back on.. 😅
Natural slate tiles replacing some tired laminate flooring made a huge difference and brightened the room up lots too!

This customer supplied, engineered oak herringbone flooring proved to be an interesting challenge! Partly down the the sheer amount, but also trying to run it through multiple rooms and have it meet the other side! The end result looked fantastic though, especially combined with these Howdens Holdenby oak doors throughout.

Another beautiful Howdens kitchen completed near Knighton. This one presented a slightly different challenge with radius cuts on some of the worktops to give it a lovely, curved quartz/marble look. The end result is really pleasing though!
Finished off with mosaic tiles and oak effect flooring. 👌🏼

This property in Ludlow was crying out for a fence along the side of the pavement. A simple 3ft picket fence was all that was required to make a huge difference and stop the persistent issue of dog mess being left on this customers front garden. 🙌🏻

After something similar? Feel free to drop me a message or call on 07366 655210 to discuss your own fencing project! 🔨🪚
