It's been great working at The Southwold Gym over the last few weeks, helping with this amazing renovation, especially installing the new defibrillator.

A fantastic project to be involved with and a great example of local people and organisations coming together to provide something that could make a real difference in an emergency. ❤️

Excited to go back in a few weeks to see the transformation and carry out all the finishing touches. Thanks to everyone at The Old Hospital Southwold.

A huge thank you to Dave from DB Electrical for all his hard work on the gym over the last few weeks — and especially for kindly installing our new defibrillator free of charge.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to Southwold Town Council and Friends of Southwold Library for their generous contributions towards the purchase of the device.

An AED (automated external defibrillator) can provide vital support in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. It gives clear, step-by-step instructions to guide the user through what to do in an emergency, meaning you don’t need to be medically trained to use it.

The defibrillator is located at the front of The Old Hospital and is accessible 24 hours a day.

It is suitable for use on both adults and children, helping ensure this potentially life-saving equipment is available to the wider community whenever it is needed.

A great example of what can be achieved when local people and organisations come together. ❤️

What a fantastic job it's been to be involved with. We installed power for the pond pump, sleeper lighting, and outdoor sockets in this amazing sunken garden, working alongside a great landscape gardener.

Really pleased with how it all came together and the finished result looks incredible! 👌

⚡️Another busy one recently⚡

Following a recent EICR, we’ve completed a full consumer unit replacement along with a number of other remedial works identified.

During the visit we also identified an issue with the main cut-out, where bitumen had been leaking. This has been reported directly to UK Power Networks, and they have confirmed the main service cable and cut-out are due for replacement in the coming weeks.

All works carried out safely and in line with regulations, issuing the correct paperwork including building control notification and ensuring the installation is now compliant and future-proofed.
