The garden and all the patio at Angels Lodge are now finished — just the final seed to go down, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s all come together. 🔥

We’ve also made a start on a new 6ft double-skin wall, while the oak car port base is now complete, ready for the oversite and the next stage of the build.

And our other huge extension is now fully complete and ready for the roof to be tiled — another major milestone on what’s been a fantastic project.

From landscaping and brickwork to extensions and complete property transformations, we keep everything moving from start to finish.

Vandersanden bricks again — a pleasure to lay and a fantastic finish.

Another week, another step closer to completion across several of our projects.

The trusses are now on and the gable is nearly finished on our huge extension, with the build really starting to take shape.

The footings are poured and materials are on site ready for the next project — a stunning 3-bay oak carport measuring 6m × 9m.

Over at Angels Lodge, all the slabbing is now finished, bringing another part of this project together beautifully.

Another great week for the J1 Homes team, with a couple more extensions well underway and plenty more to come.

From initial ideas and planning through to the final finish, we provide a complete turnkey service.

ANOTHER BIG WEEK OF PROGRESS AT J1 HOMES

We always aim to achieve as much as possible each week, but this week has been exceptional.

🏠 The huge slate roof is now just one day away from completion, with the scaffold ready to come down and the guttering going on next.

🏗️ Our major extension has reached wall plate level and is ready for the trusses next week. The final scaffold lift is also going up, with thanks to YSL scaffolding for keeping everything moving.

🚧 The next project is already underway, with the footings fully excavated and ready for concrete next week. From there, we’ll be creating an impressive 6m x 9m oak three-bay carport.

🧱 And to finish off an already busy week, we’ve completed the final two retaining walls at Holton-le-Clay.

From roofing and extensions to bespoke outdoor structures and detailed brickwork, we continue to deliver projects from start to finish, with quality and attention to detail at every stage.

The 2nd lift is going up and the trusses are now on site ready for the next stage! 🏠💪

Hopefully the weather stays on our side and we’ll have the wall plate ready next week, which means it’ll soon be time to get the crane on site and get these trusses up! 🚀

Another week of cracking progress — starting to really take shape now! 🔨

🏡 FINALLY… A BIT OF TIME FOR OUR OWN PROJECT! 👌

After being flat out on customers’ jobs, we finally had a bit of spare time this weekend to get the slabbing finished at our own project, Angels Lodge — and it’s looking absolutely spot on! 🔥

Just a little more topsoil to get in and the whole back garden is finished. 🙌

Inside, there’s only a little bit of plumbing left to tick off before we can get stuck into the plastering and really start seeing the house come together.

It’s been a long project, but we’re getting closer and closer to the finish line! 💪🏡

🏠 Fascia & soffit — the last bits are now all finished.
🌳 Oak beam — fitted and ready for the kitchen to be plastered.
🏡 Flat roof — old roof ripped off and replaced with a fully fibreglassed GRP roof. Another job that’s now watertight and built to last!

There’s nothing better than seeing a job go from an old, tired space to something completely transformed. 💪
