Who am I?

I am an ex Main Contractors Quantity Surveyor who is now a freelance Estimator and Pre Construction Specialist.

I get involved at the start of a construction project to do
1- Risk assessment - is the project feasible? Will it return a profit in the current market?
2- Cost - I undertake full costing of projects, from initial m2 rates through to full Bill of Quantities - so you know what it will cost.
3- Contract reviews - protect yourself, is the contract fair, are you going to get caught out with the clauses etc
4- design review - is everything there, is the scope of works clear, are the drawings accurate, do they show all the elements of the work?

I am available to homeowners who may be considering that extension or self build project, to building contractors who need that additional support to win those projects, sub contractors looking at securing more work.
