A great example of how much difference a well-planned cylinder replacement can make.

The existing cylinder had reached the end of its life, so we replaced it while retaining the existing Samsung heat pump system. The new cylinder was installed, the system components transferred across and the pipework tidied and insulated — leaving a much cleaner, more accessible setup.

A couple of recent oil boiler services for the REN team - from domestic systems to larger plant rooms, we’re happy working on a wide range of oil-fired heating equipment.

🚨 **WE’RE HIRING - HEAT PUMP ENGINEER** 🚨

REN is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Heat Pump Engineer to join our team and support a strong pipeline of work across Norfolk.

The role will include:

✅ Installing air-source heat-pump systems
✅ Servicing and maintaining existing systems
✅ Fault finding and repairs
✅ First and second fix plumbing
✅ General plumbing and heating work
✅ Installing cylinders, radiators, pumps and controls
✅ Testing systems and completing relevant paperwork

We are open to either:

✅ Permanent employment
✅ Self-employed subcontractor work

Applicants should have strong plumbing and heating experience, practical heat-pump knowledge, a high standard of workmanship and a full UK driving licence.

Underfloor heating installation underway 🔥

Dan and Ian have been busy installing the underfloor heating system on one of our current projects.

Every loop has been planned and laid to provide even heat distribution, improved efficiency and maximum comfort throughout the home. The manifold has now been fitted, ready for the next stage before the screed is poured.

Meet Dan, our director, leading the team; Archie, our apprentice, learning the trade and building his experience; and Georgina, who keeps everything running smoothly in admin.

Also part of Team REN is Ian, our engineer, who missed the photo call but plays a key role out on the job.

Together, we keep REN Servicing running smoothly - in the office, on the tools and everywhere in between.
