Living wild… harvesting cauliflower šŸ˜„šŸ„¦

A better life is possible.

Less noise, less rush, less grey.
More sun, more green, more sea.

I know this might sound like a clichƩ, like one of those dreams everyone talks about.

But maybe there’s a reason so many people dream about the same thing.

Maybe deep down we all know that happiness was never meant to be found in useless and material things we were told we needed.

Maybe it’s simpler than that:
time with family, real food, slow days, and sunsets by the water.

There’s something magical about gardening — watching a tiny seed grow into a healthy plant and finally enjoying its fruits. šŸŒ±šŸ… Every step, from sowing to harvesting, is rewarding. Trust the process — the harvest will come!

Starting this year with awareness, but at the same time with a heavy feeling on our shoulders.
The awareness that the journey we are about to begin feels scary at times, but also that without trying, it would be impossible to ever know if it’s truly worth it. Some paths only reveal themselves once you have the courage to step onto them.

The Market Gardener has been much more than a book for us.
It represents a vision we feel is worth sharing with others too. A reading for anyone who dreams of becoming their own boss, but even more for those searching for real meaning in their work, beyond money, beyond productivity, beyond routine.

Throughout this process, Jean-Martin Fortier has felt like a true mentor.
In moments when everything felt uncertain and we felt lost, listening to his words, his experience, and his clarity helped us slow down, refocus, and trust the direction we were moving in.

This journey also means a return to the origin.
To the land. To our roots. To our beloved Sardinia. After more than a decade in London, this will be our last growing season here, a closing chapter filled with gratitude, lessons, and the quiet certainty that it’s time to go home.

Thank you to and the for the inspiration, the knowledge, and the vision you’ve shared. You’ve helped us believe that another way of living and working is possible.

We hope this year marks the beginning of a new life.
Not an easy one, but one with meaning.
A life chosen with intention. 🌿

We’ve entered a new year, but it’s hard to celebrate.
It feels dishonest to pretend hope comes automatically with a change of date, when the year we’ve just left behind was marked by suffering, war, and normalized death.

We are expected to be happy, to post smiles and resolutions, as if the world didn’t just watch children die, as if violence hadn’t become routine, as if empathy hadn’t been drained from us in real time.

Politics no longer represents us; it manages us. We’re pushed into parties and identities that don’t protect us, placed against one another while those in power remain untouched. The poor are set against the poorer, and the ones responsible stand safely above it all.

Living inside this creates a constant feeling of being out of place. Survival is sold as success. But survival is not living.

This year feels like the last sprint toward the peace we keep searching for —
the final effort, the final refusal to accept this as normal.

All I want is to stay close to the people I love.
A simple life.
Without the rush. Without the chaos.

I don’t want to survive.
I want to live.

And if living now means stepping away from what is broken, then leaving isn’t escape.
It’s clarity.
