We’ve just completed the restoration of the original timber sash windows on this listed property in North London.

The windows have been carefully repaired and overhauled, retaining the original joinery, fine glazing bars and period proportions, before being traditionally hand painted.

The arched sash and original shutter surrounds are particularly beautiful details — craftsmanship that belongs to the building and should remain with it.

Good conservation is about keeping as much of the original fabric as possible.
