Tamara Donn - Transformation For Women For mums who struggle with the juggle of too much to do in too little time. Tamara's book, Frazzled Is there more to life than this?
(1)

Is there never enough time in the day? Are past traumas affecting your present? Are you stressed/suffer from anxiety or panic? Would you like to experience more peace and calm? Are fears holding you back from being your true self? Do you experience physical conditions with no physical cause? If the answer is “yes” to any of these, you are in the right place. I gently and safely lead women to the edge of possibility, creating an opportunity for them to infuse the trust and courage necessary to take a leap from what they know to discover their infinite potentiality. From stress and anxiety to peace
From victim to power
From anger to acceptance
From resentment to forgiveness
From period pain to period power
From maiden to pregnancy to birth to motherhood

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques/ Tapping) is a powerful, easy to learn tool that can be used to release fears about the future, past traumas, upsets, blocks and so much more, as well as helping with physical symptoms such as pain. I offer workshops and one-to-one EFT treatments face to face or over the phone or by Skype anywhere in the world. This is also an opportunity to learn the basics so you can use it at home. My book, Frazzled to Fabulous in 5 Minutes a Day, won the 2021 Janey Lee Grace Platinum Award. Its a book for stressed, overwhelmed and exhausted mums who want to regain their calm, enjoy their kids and get more done.

She came to our EFT training with a very clear intention.

She’s a counsellor and wanted another tool to help her clients soothe anxiety and regulate their nervous systems.

That was it.

She had no intention of becoming an EFT practitioner.

But then she experienced EFT for herself and realised it could go much deeper than she'd expected.

Rather than simply helping someone feel calmer, she began to experience how EFT could uncover and work with some of the deeper emotions and experiences underneath what someone is struggling with.

She started practising with others too and was amazed by what she was seeing.

By the end of Level 1 she'd changed her mind.

She wanted to continue and become an EFT practitioner.

I think this is an important distinction because EFT is increasingly talked about as a tool for nervous system regulation.

And yes, it can be brilliant for that.

But that can be just the beginning.

Used skilfully, EFT can also help us work with the deeper issues that may be driving the emotional response in the first place.

As she says:

“If some people want to get results and work on something more quickly, this EFT is amazing.”

And her verdict after the training?

“It's mind-blowing. It's really mind-blowing.”

If you're already a counsellor, therapist, coach or practitioner, this might give you a very different perspective on what EFT could add to the work you're already doing.

💗 Global Wave of Light Day: Remembering the Babies We Carry in Our Hearts 💗

Today, on Global Wave of Light Day, we come together to remember the babies who are no longer with us and to honour the parents, families and loved ones who carry their memory.

The Wave of Light is a beautiful reminder that although baby loss can feel incredibly isolating, you are not alone. Around the world, candles are lit in remembrance, creating a wave of light in honour of every baby who has died.

Grief after baby loss can be overwhelming and deeply personal. There is no right way to grieve and no timeline for healing. Sometimes, gentle emotional support and approaches such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) can provide a space to explore and process some of the emotions that come with loss.

In this blog post, we share one mother's experience of baby loss and her journey with EFT.

If this is part of your story, or you're supporting someone who has experienced baby loss, we hope this offers a gentle reminder that you don't have to carry it all alone. 💗

🕯️ Light a candle tonight at 7pm and add your light to the Global Wave of Light.

What if your back pain could tell you something about what’s going on emotionally?

This week is Back Care Awareness Week, and we're sharing this fascinating EFT experience from Rachel, who arrived at her EFT training with significant back pain.

During the training, she began exploring not just the physical sensation, but the emotions and experiences connected to it - including a feeling of not being supported.

She then volunteered for an EFT demonstration.

After around 15 minutes of tapping, she discovered she could move in a way that had previously caused pain — and described the pain as having gone from around 9/10 to 0/10 in that moment.

But there's an important part of her story too.

The pain later returned to some degree, and rather than seeing that as EFT having “failed”, she explored what else might be underneath the experience. She also found that the relaxation from the tapping helped her feel able to introduce stretching again.

For Rachel, the experience opened up a much deeper exploration of the relationship between her physical symptoms, past experiences and beliefs such as “I'm not strong enough.”

And that's one of the things that can make EFT such an interesting tool to explore alongside appropriate care for physical symptoms:

What else might be going on beneath the surface?

🏀 Can just 15 minutes of EFT improve athletic performance?

According to this study, it can!

High-performance college basketball players had just 15 minutes of EFT tapping and improved their free-throw performance by an impressive 20.8%.

Meanwhile, the control group’s performance actually dropped by 16.6%.

And that's after just 15 minutes of tapping?!

The researchers also measured vertical jump height as part of this randomised controlled trial.

Studies like this show just how much our emotional state can affect our performance — and how quickly EFT can make a difference.

A huge thank you to Dr Peta Stapleton for sharing this research and for continuing to champion the science behind EFT. 🙏

“I've been seeing an EFT practitioner myself, and I've been blown away…”

Elaine had already experienced EFT as a client before she decided to train with us.

She'd worked on the same “past stuff” using other modalities, but she says EFT had got “to the core of things” in a way that had brought lasting emotional relief and lasting change.

So what surprised her when she came to our training?

How accessible it felt.

Even though working with people you don't know and sharing personal things can feel daunting at first, Elaine says she always felt safe and in control of what she shared.

She describes the training as warm, supportive and very different from being back at school!

“It’s not like school.”

You don't have to feel pressure to know the answers.

You can ask questions.

You can go at your own pace.

And you get to learn not just how to use EFT with others, but how to use it in your own life too.

And I love her reminder that you don't even have to want to become a practitioner.

“It’s a beautiful thing to do for yourself.”

I couldn't agree more.

Watch Elaine's story and hear what she discovered through her EFT training journey.

Facing Surgery? Try EFT for Calmer Nerves

Surgery can be stressful—but what if you could reduce that anxiety in just minutes?

A study by Thomas, Cutinho & Ar**ha (2017) showed that just two 10-minute sessions of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) can make a powerful difference:

🔹 EFT Group: Anxiety reduced by 35%

🔹 Control Group: No change (0%)

These two brief sessions were done:

✅ One day prior to surgery

✅ Again on the day of surgery

Even short EFT sessions can deliver fast, effective relief for those facing medical procedures—helping the mind and body feel safer, calmer, and more prepared.

Read the full study here: https://doi.org/10.9769/EPJ.2017.9.1.RT

And here is my own experience of supporting a client through a procedure: https://tamaradonn.com/2014/11/05/eft-for-fear-of-operation-being-put-to-sleep/

Know someone with surgery coming up? Share this with them—this simple tool could make all the difference.
