London Square has submitted plans to transform Wimbledon Bridge House into a vibrant, mixed-use community hub.

This iconic building, just opposite Wimbledon train station and close to the famous All England Lawn Tennis Club, is set to be reimagined with 123 stylish apartments and around 27,000 sq ft of commercial space — creating new homes, jobs, and retail opportunities right in the heart of SW19.

Partnering with Fourfoursixsix Architects, they're committed to enhancing the local area with modern design, sustainable choices, and a boost to community life. This project is all about shaping a greener, more connected Wimbledon!

🚧 Big changes in Building Safety! 🚧 The UK government has announced a new Fast Track Process to speed up the review of new-build applications, helping to unblock delays and boost confidence in the sector. 🏡

These reforms aim to deliver 1.5 million safe, high-quality homes faster, with a focus on building safety and efficiency.

Key steps include the creation of a single Construction Regulator—a major recommendation from the Grenfell Tower Inquiry—led by seasoned safety expert Andy Roe KFSM, supported by new leadership and over 100 additional staff.

Minister Alex Norris emphasises: "This is about prioritising safety while delivering the homes the country needs."

With these reforms, industry will see faster inspections and decision-making, all while ensuring safety remains at the core. This is a huge step forward in building a safer, more efficient housing sector. 🛠️🔒

Just like in our construction projects, it's all about focus, strategy, and perseverance. Watching players like Carlos Alcaraz, Dan Evans, Mensik, and Fearnley battle it out on the court reminded us that success comes from dedication and the willingness to keep pushing forward, even when things get tough.
