New Project ~

We first met Georgia Spray of PARTNERSHIP EDITIONS in 2019, viewing a different property in east London. During that purchase, another house came on the market which was viewed behind face masks and video calls.

This one stuck and we got to work developing ideas on how to sensitively renovate and extend the terrace property. Georgia’s brief contained a vision for a timber glasshouse, created from memories of greenhouses her childhood.

We considered how the young family would live and grow in the house, allowing natural light and air to flow through the different levels. Hidden away are pockets of storage on each floor, with boot room storage on the ground floor and a new laundry room within the roof extension.

Natural materials were selected throughout to allow the house to age and patina through use.

*Sneak Peek*

We’re sharing a glimpse into the amazing shoot with Ellen Christina Hancock for our Earls Court refurbishment with Katarina and Adrian Sobolewski

This property was purchased in a derelict state and in taking it back to brickwork, we worked in detail with client and project team to careful piece together every bespoke element.

The stunning proportions of the property can be seen in this shot, with original curves kept and almost 3m ceiling heights retained. Black and white marble chequerboard floor from Modica Marble London Limited hand cut with each piece chosen for exact placement.

Beyond you glimpse the Roundhouse kitchen.

All artwork and antique furnishes the clients own.

More project images to follow in due course.

Project Snapshot 📸

We are excited to give a glimpse of our recently completed Wandsworth project, in collaboration with The Want Room and West & Reid Kitchens

The project saw the renovation and extension of a semi detached house, digging down to improve head heights and create the dramatic level changes within the new family living spaces.

A cool mix of natural materials create a timeless palatte of oak, concrete and black steel.

Project Snapshot - Georgia’s House

A timeless renovation and extension to a terraced house in Stoke Newington, worked in collaboration with Georgia Spray of PARTNERSHIP EDITIONS for her young family.

Taking inspiration from memories of timber greenhouses in wild gardens, the property was sensitively extended to the side and rear. The new spaces created a family room for cooking and dining with friends.

A new mansard loft conversion created additional bedrooms and bathrooms and allowed us to configure a master suite at first floor level.

Every decision was taken with the thought of soft, natural materials which would age and patina with time.

The sunshine in August help maintain incredible progress across all our building sites. We’ve got education projects due for completion pre Christmas (dare we say the C word in August!) and residential projects aiming for Spring 2027. Finishes are carefully being considered and measured once the large structural packages are in place.

More next month!

We’re working with Hidden Valley Grayshott | Outdoor Nursery & Sally Arnold | Planning Consultant | London & Home Counties on designs for a new timber framed outdoor classroom.

The demountable timber system will replace a fabric tent to create the sheltered classroom for the 25 place forest school nursery in Surrey.

The constructional timber will be stained in green oil and hide fabric panels to help create shelter during periods of high winds or heavy rain. The corrugated sheet roof will funnel all rainwater down into a new gutter system to be used in a water play area at a lower level.

More on this education space shortly!

July 2026

We’re catching up after a busy Summer period in the office. We have a strange balance in our workload currently with a lot of projects in either pre-construction or construction on site across both Education and Residential work.

After a period of two years, we’re slowing beginning to photograph projects and soon we’ll have new content to showcase to everyone!

For now, here’s a glimpse of all the team’s hard work!

June 2026

The heat in June has reengaged our internal conversation on the climate crisis and what more we should be doing as architects. Across all our projects, we’re looking at ways we can source local materials, add more insulation and switch to renewable energy.

The sunshine allowed for a number of residential, heritage and education projects to be photographed. We can’t wait to start sharing the new imagery soon!

🥳 Planning granted 🥳 for our part two storey, part single storey rear extension in

The scheme amalgamated an existing outbuilding to push out further into the garden, creating a stepped form. These new brick structures house an open plan kitchen, dining and living area that look out onto the rear garden.

The clients liked the red brick used in the existing house, so wanted to continue with the material but use different patterns and layers to create interest.

This work will create a flexible family home for the clients to grow into.
