The Pink Elephant Regatta is a fantastic event that we have come to know, love and sponsor over the years, and we can't wait to be back on the water again this year!

Bringing together companies from across the data centre industry, the regatta is a brilliant opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, and, most importantly, raise vital funds for a cause close to our hearts.

The EMCTrust, based on the Isle of Wight, is an extraordinary charity supporting young people aged 8–24 living through cancer.

We're looking forward to another incredible day of racing on the Solent, with Ash Buckland especially looking forward to beating Julian Butler in the racing this year! A huge thank you to everyone who makes this event possible year after year, we’ll see you on the start line.

It’s been three months since our Associate team was formed and since then Dave Leahy and Stuart Burgess have strengthened the operational management of our London and Lymington branches respectively.

They are currently working together on the annual update of our company Quality Management System (QMS). This includes refining processes to enable efficient project deliveries, restructuring the folders to a ‘2 click’ ideal, saving the company time and money, and endeavouring to ensure navigation is quick and intuitive.

In a catch-up with the pair, they shared insights into what they are most enjoying in these new roles. Key highlights included supporting the staff through the annual appraisal process and working with individuals on their personal development.

At a strategic level, they are valuing working closer with the sales and marketing teams, as well as the Directors, to support pre-construction, business operations, and general company direction alongside high-level decision making.

Both are playing a key role in driving further business growth through the development and management of key client accounts, and we look forward to seeing their successes as they continue to grow with us.

Delivering technical design in complex data centre environments requires absolute accuracy.

By utilising point cloud surveys, we can digitally capture existing facilities and translate them into highly detailed Revit models, enabling precise coordination of intricate infrastructure systems.

International Women’s Day may have been yesterday, but it only felt right to take a moment to recognise the brilliant women who are part of our JB Associates team and make a difference every day.

Across our projects, there’s a huge amount happening that wouldn’t be possible without them. From cost consulting and technical expertise to administration and finance, their knowledge, commitment and perspective are a valued part of both our team and the work we deliver.

Sarah, Kelly, Katya, Rebecca, Millie and Sarah — thank you for everything you do and for being such a valued part of the JBA team.

We’re pleased to welcome Millie to JB Associates for work experience 👏

Millie is keen to gain exposure across all areas of the business, with a particular focus on administration and understanding how a growing construction consultancy operates day-to-day.

In her first few days, she’s already completed a stock take of company clothing, placed and managed supplier orders, organised and reconciled receipts, researched and compared venues for our annual golf event, booked business accommodation, and joined meetings to gain insight into our social media activity.

A proactive start from day one — we’re looking forward to supporting her development over the coming weeks.

We are extremely proud to be continuing our partnership with Lymington Town FC.

It is a privilege to provide kits for both the First Team and Ladies Team, as well as some additional training gear for the First Team. Supporting our local community is a key value of ours, and we are thrilled to help provide the resources these players need to thrive.

We are looking forward to the rest of the season, being part of the journey with such a great club and are excited to cheer both teams on.

Our team love a challenge…

And in 2025, we experienced just that. Battling sunburn, blisters, aches, pains and sprains, we walked 26 miles from Sandbanks to Lymington — and we would do it 100 times over to support the fantastic Oakhaven Hospice.

So, we’re doing it again!

On Saturday 16th May, we’ll come together once again to complete this charity walk. We’re so fortunate to have a network of truly generous people; last year we raised over £1,200 (contributing to a grand total of £120,000!), and this year we’d love to surpass that target.

Oakhaven is an organisation close to our hearts. They provide excellent care and enhance the quality of life for individuals living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families.

Tonight, we are in London with DBK and Frigel for an intimate evening of presentations, discussion, and networking.

Rob Crane, Sarah Davies-Fry and Khorshed Alam from our team are exploring a new Chiller solution and platform for natural refrigerants for Data Centres. This next-generation system is designed to enable high-temperature district heating integration at scale and introduces a fully modular approach for air-cooled & water-cooled Chillers, that provides unprecedented flexibility to Basis of Design development and beyond for Data Centres.

They say the early bird catches the worm (or in this case, the best views of Amsterdam).

While the days were filled with industry-leading discussions at the Kickstart Europe Conference, from the demands of liquid cooling to the challenges of securing grid connections across Europe, Ash Buckland and Rob Crane made sure to make the most of their time in the Netherlands…

The pair headed out into the city centre for a walk before sunrise to admire the beautiful architecture, canals (and of course, the cheese) of Amsterdam before the conference doors even opened.

It’s been an incredible trip, both inside the venue and out, and we look forward to next year! 🇳🇱
