We are delighted to host Helen's exhibition in Sark following an acclaimed run in Guernsey, come and see these fascinating images. Here are some words from Helen:
"The images from my Beyond the Shadows exhibition echo that journey. They are an invitation to look closer, to step into a dreamlike world. Many of the images are reflections. They have been captured in a broken mirror found by the side of the road or in water, or through glass. Layer upon layer, each photograph blurs the boundary between what is real and what is perceived."

What a wonderful gift to Jersey! Come and see some of the wonderful artistic heritage of Sark which is one of the reasons we founded our gallery. And maybe start a sketchbook of your own.

🖼️ A rare 19th Century sketchbook, offering a unique glimpse into how parts of Jersey looked more than 100 years ago, has been donated to study group Société Jersiaise.

It contains 80 pencil sketches and watercolours showing Jersey's landscapes.
