Hedge planting season is here, and we’ve been busy transforming a garden by replacing an old, tired hedge with beautiful new Griselinia. 🌱

But a great hedge is about much more than what you see above ground!👇

Before planting, we removed the old hedge, processed the green waste and roots on-site, and carefully prepared and improved the soil to give the new plants the best possible start.

Why wait years for your trees to grow? 🌳

We recently planted these magnificent 6.5 metre Magnolia grandiflora to create an instant, natural screen – with plenty more to offer as they continue to establish.

Great planting starts with what you can’t see… 🌱

A recent customer asked Andrew Le Maistre Landscapes to transform their garden border with beautiful new planting and we made sure everything beneath the surface was ready to help it thrive.

The existing border contained rubble, clay and poor-quality soil, which isn't the foundation you want for healthy plants. So, before planting began, our team got to work:

🚜 Used our compact excavator to remove the existing unsuitable material
♻️ Cleared and responsibly disposed of the rubble and poor-quality soil
🌱 Brought in quality soil and mixed it with compost
