As a knife maker, I’m always asked how to sharpen a knife at home. Which is a whole rabbit hole in itself.
But for me, the ultimate home hack to keep your knife sharp is by using a leather strop.
If you can give your knife a few swipes on leather strop pretty regularly, you won’t NEED to sharpen your knife for ages!

In the endless search for the perfect blade finish, I took this batch back to the Japanese Waterstones to flatten the bevels. It’s slow, but the finish is sooooo nice.
