The cushion is the old soul of diamond cuts, all soft corners and candlelit fire. These are just shy of five carats each, and they are cut deep, so the light doesn’t just bounce off the surface. It falls a long way into the stone and comes back up in that crushed-ice blaze you can see even from across the table. We have set them in fine bezels of 14k yellow gold and hung them from the slenderest hooks, so all that depth gets to move. Meet Odette, lab-grown, certified, and not at all shy about it.

The Joséphine Ring was named after Joséphine Baker, performer, activist, and one of the most remarkable women of the twentieth century. A woman who commanded every room she walked into and never apologised for it. The ring deserved that energy.

The design is rooted in Art Deco: an emerald-cut centre stone flanked by two brilliant cuts, bold shield geometry, sharp lines, and serious sparkle. Who What Wear called it a spectacle. We think that's about right.
