London CYM Guitar Department Providing expert tuition in Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar,Jazz Guitar, and Bass Guitar for tale We also teach Electric Bass guitar.

The London Centre for Young Musicians, now part of Guildhall Young Artists, was founded in 1970, with Classical Guitar as one of its taught instruments. The Guitar Department in its present form began with the appointment of Tim Pells as Head of Guitar in 1984. The Department has always worked to provide guitar tuition in the broadest possible musical sense, to the widest range of young players. A

ctivities have now developed from Classical Guitar roots to include Acoustic Guitar, Fingerstyle,Jazz, Songwriting, Blues, and Latin guitar styles. All CYM Guitar students play in at least one ensemble, many play in several, from Chamber Orchestras to Jazz Bands. See are an enthusiastic and diverse bunch of Guitarists!
