A great show for our industry as always.

So many people I didn’t get to catch up!

But, great to see everyone who I managed to talk to 🧨✅

That’s a whole load of Cross-Cutting courses

Sometimes I forget this scale of courses we deliver, this pile of logs certainly puts it back into perspective.

However to me, scale isn’t everything, quality is.

Thanks to MediArb Ltd for sending us these fantastic ICE signs for our vehicles.

When working in remote locations, preparation can save lives in the event of an emergency.

These ICE signs do exactly that.

Tree work related incidents can occur so quickly, resulting in serious injury. These shock situations can leave us panicked, and disorientated. Searching for a risk assessment with the exact location can become a difficult task in the heat of the moment.

To have all the relevant information pin to the side of the truck is vital in these situations.

Call, recommend these enough 👏🏻

wychwood tree surgeons Get his hung up tree out on last weeks CS32 Felling Trees Over 380mm course.

With the right tools, and the right equipment rolling out hung up trees shouldn’t be a struggle.

Here, Dean removed the hinge from the near side, and left a remaining 10% of holding wood on the far side, relative to the direction of roll.

leaving the 10% of hinge allows the tree to pivot over, whilst remaining attached to the stump.

Here a large Cant hook was utilised to assist with the roll out.

The Husqvarna UK X-Coms allows our instructors to stay in contact with the candidates at all times.

Congratulations to Jon, aka Frogzy 🐸𝙵𝚛𝚘𝚐𝚣𝚢 for passing is CS32 Felling Trees Over 380mm today.

This year, Jon has been venturing into the world of instructing here at Ground Up Training, with huge success, and nothing but glowing reviews from our candidates.

One candidate commented, “Jon’s enthusiasm and detailed training is remarkable” hailing him as the best instructor he has experienced.

Jon completed his CS32 this week in the run-up to becoming a City & Guilds assessor.

He will be the first assessor we have sponsored as a C&G centre here at Ground Up Training, and proudly too.

We firmly believe Jon will be an asset to the training & assessing world.

Well done mate 👌🧨

I just like ropes tired up neatly….

Becoming an arborist requires many attributes, but if I had to choose one, I would say choose neatness.
