Tonight we launch Storii, with an invitation-only evening at in Barry Island.

New fragrance, sea air, and ice cream. The perfect summer night.

Storii is a perfume layering collection built for experimenting. Three chapters (for now!), each one distinct, designed to wear alone or layer with the others. Just like choosing your favourite ice cream flavours and discovering what works together.

How to layer scents - and why you should try it.

Fragrance layering is simply wearing more than one scent at a time, applied in sequence so they interact on your skin.

Start with the lighter fragrance, let it settle, then add the next one on top.

The result is something no one else is wearing.
Storii is a collection built entirely around this idea.

Three Chapters:
1. vanilla,
2. rose,
3. fig.

The beauty of Storii is that you get to choose.

Each Chapter is an eau de parfum, so you can wear any one of them on its own and it will last between six and eight hours on skin. But the collection is designed to layer, and that is where it gets interesting.

Start with Chapter One: vanilla, mallow, tonka. Let it dry. Then spray Chapter Two, Chapter Three, or both on top. The vanilla sits underneath everything, softening and extending the other Chapters as the day goes on.

Just one thing - rubbing fragrance shortens its life on skin, and these are too good to lose too soon.

This is me.

I grew up obsessed with my grandmother's fragrance bottles and a chemistry set I had when I was 10 years old.

I spent years in the pharmaceutical industry before a chance article in a magazine sent me to Paris to train as a perfumer.

In 2019 started Wales Perfumery in a studio I still work from every day, formulating, filling, and finishing everything by hand.

I am a member of the British Society of Perfumers, recognised as one of The Fragrance Foundation UK's NextGen Perfumers, and my happy place is at the bench with a tray of materials and no particular plan.

Since 2019 I've launched Natur, then The Celts, then Storii. Each one of these collections has taught me something. Each one has felt like mine in a way I did not expect.

Cornovii is a bright, sparkling, and golden Eau de Parfum that celebrates Cornwall’s ancient Celtic tribe and their remarkable trade across the Mediterranean Sea.

Carrying tin and linen from Cornish shores to Narbonne and beyond, the Cornovii returned with wine, gold, coral, and olives.

All of that warmth, light, and far-travelled sophistication lives in this fragrance.

A few places still available for this Saturday.

If you have been thinking about coming to a Bespoke Perfume Making Workshop, this weekend is a lovely one to do it. I have morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday 13th June at the studio in Monmouthshire.

Small groups, real materials, and a fragrance you have made yourself to take home.

Booking is open for the summer too, with dates available throughout July and beyond.

Storii Chapter Two.
Rose, peony and pink pepper.

Beautiful, floral and sweet, with just enough pepperiness to keep it interesting.
I wanted this fragrance to feel like a rose that has been dipped in icing sugar. Romantic without losing its edge.
I love it.

Step into a perfumer's shoes with our Bespoke Perfumery Making Workshop.

Discover the building blocks of fragrance, exploring top, middle, and base notes, smelling each of the materials using scent strips.

Explore and select scents that link to your memories. We'll help you develop a bespoke formula from your favourites.

Then create and blend your own personalised bottle of fragrance to take away with you. We keep your formula on file so you can reorder whenever you want to.

We'll provide the tea, coffee, and Welsh cakes for your refreshment.

Easing into June with a bit of a lab reset, and looking forward to everything we have coming up this month.

Just a reminder that we have two days of workshops scheduled here at the secret walled garden on the 6th & 13th June at 10am and 1pm each day.

There are just a handful of places left. Come and make your own, bespoke scent for the summer.

All you need to bring is yourself and your enthusiasm, I'll bring my expertise and guidance as a professional perfumer, all the materials and of course, the Welsh cakes!

You'll go home with a 30ml bottle of your bespoke, unique to you, Eau de Parfum (which you can re-order from us at any time, bonus!).

Storii started with a feeling.

Shelves of pastel confections. That particular palette of soft beige, blush pink and sage green. The pleasure of something small, beautiful and carefully made, where every colour hints at a different experience.

I wanted to make fragrances that felt like that. Each Chapter its own thing, complete and considered, but part of something bigger when you put them together.

Chapter One, Two and Three are just the beginning.
