A regular customer came to me and wanted the drive way sorting and then a price to do the rear garden next year.
We managed to save over £1000 by doing both at the same time. Was a bigger job but saved a lot of mess next year all over the new drive. We dug out 1 full load for the grab lorry about 15-16 tons we then put down our Terran then 100mm of type 1 and then 20 to 30 mm of grano dust. We decided to go thick as the pool will be out in the summer and didn’t want any undulations. The grano dust was the covered with a geotextile w**d membrane. This also helps to stop the crunchy sound when it’s walked on. We made a nice solid planter on the right of the garden to match in with the existing sleepers and a small step up to the patio at the back.
In the front we went with a granite cobblestone with grey pointing and doubled up at the front.
A nice curve leading back to the house we then dug out and filled in with type1 and w**d prevention. The last job was to split 7 dumpy bags of decorative stone over the area.
It looks awesome now. And we was in and out in 5 days not to bad. A big thanks to cwr plant hire who I always use. They are reliable and on time. Great prices. Number is in the pics

Just finished this transformation.
The young girl and her parents wanted to utilise some unused space in the on suite bathroom. She didn’t have enough space for all of her cloths so this is what we came up with.
We removed the bath capped all pipe work off and is easily reversed if they choose to. The old sink removed and re piped under the floor to the new sink in the w/c. A partition wall was then put in and the waste pipe to the sink hidden in the wall as boxing in is ugly.
All the units were made off site to minimise disruption to the family. The doors to the wardrobe are made from 12mm mdf then 6mm ply laminated over this gives a nice wood grain effect in the light. 165° hinges were used for easy access. 2 large mirrors were added.
The draws were not planned but when I saw all the space behind the wall it would have been a shame to lose it. It’s my first time doing the draws like this and I think it looks great.
The painter is going in next week to paint the walls and then for the carpet. I’ll post the finished picture once it’s all done.
