What a memorable weekend for C2K as we celebrated a very special joint graduation with CIOB — and one that means a great deal to us both personally and professionally.

Paul has graduated as a Fellow of CIOB (FCIOB), while Rhys has graduated as a Member (MCIOB). Two different stages of the chartered journey, achieved side by side. 🏗️

Reaching chartered status within construction management is a significant achievement, requiring commitment, experience and a lot of hard work. Finding the time to step away from our busy schedules and celebrate this milestone together made it even more special — not just for us, but for C2K and what we’re building for the future.

And there was another reason this graduation was particularly memorable…

We were proud to be the only father-and-son joint graduation celebrating at the events history. 👨‍👦🎓

We were also incredibly grateful for the warm welcomes and congratulations from colleagues who had travelled all the way from Abu Dhabi, as well as from Dr Victoria Hill, Chief Executive of CIOB.

A proud moment. A shared achievement. And a reminder that this is only the beginning.

🏁 RALLY UPDATE 🏁

After a difficult and problematic start to the rally, with issues involving the differential, Mathew and the service crew worked extremely hard to fix the problem, allowing them to continue into the weekend.

Saturday proved to be another challenging day, with the car struggling from a misfire. Even with both issues, Mathew and Ben (navigator) drove brilliantly, being able to finish 3rd in Class and 16th Overall in the Nationals! 👏🏻🏆

A fantastic achievement by both of them, especially considering the problems they faced throughout the rally. Huge credit to Mathew, Ben and the entire service crew.

‼️SPONSORSHIP NEWS‼️

We’re extremely pleased to have the opportunity to sponsor not only a talented driver but an old and close friend, Mathew Davies Motorsport for his up and coming Rali Bae Ceredigion Rally.
When we were first asked by both Mathew and Tesni (Mathew’s partner) we did not hesitate in agreeing to sponsor Mathew for the up and coming year.
Mathew and I started watching rallies together when we were very young and it’s been an interest that’s always bonded us both. For Mathew though it was always going to be more than just spectating, he has been competing since the age of 14 where it took him to the British junior formula thousand championship which he done for 3 years until he then turned 17 and was allowed to compete in the ST challenge in his fiesta. When he turned 18 the interest turned then to road rallies and stages and the only time since he has really stopped was during Covid and that wasn’t out of choice.
Since 2019 he has been lucky enough to rally a Mk2 Es**rt and has had some great results in that car with multiple Top 10/5 and Top 3 results, let alone a few Wins🏆
This year though Mathew has been hard at work building a stage car… in which he will be using now for Rali Bae! He went out last weekend to trial the car for the first time in Mewla Rally 2026 and was doing incredibly well with 9 O/A until he decided to retire just before the final stage due to chosen tyre and sudden weather change not corresponding🤣
We look forward to not just watching Mathew compete this weekend but sponsoring him also.

Handover day has arrived✅

As the Project Manager on behalf of Central, I’m extremely pleased to hand the roofing and cladding package over to Tilbury Douglas, achieving the agreed completion date. It has been a pleasure and an enjoyable project to be apart of.

A busy start to 2026 for C2K✅ On one of our projects in Cardiff, our main focus currently is to get this sloping green roof handed over this week to allow scaffold strip and Groundworks progression👊
