🔧 Supporting The Next Generation Of Local Electricians ⚡️

After a busy few months working full-time alongside the Dinefwr team, Sion and Iwan head back to college next week to begin Year 2 of their electrical apprenticeships - fully supported by Dinefwr Electrical & Solar 🧡💚💙

Over the summer, they’ve worked with us across a wide variety of projects, from everyday electrical installations through to some of our larger solar PV and renewable energy projects. ☀️🔋

We’re really pleased with the progress they’ve made and it’s been great to see them grow in confidence and become an important part of the Dinefwr team.

As a local business, we’re proud to support the next generation coming into the electrical industry and to provide opportunities for young people to build their careers here in Carmarthenshire. Both Sion and Iwan are Welsh speakers too, helping us continue to provide a genuinely local service to the communities we work in.

We wish them both every success as they start Year 2 and look forward to seeing what the next chapter with Dinefwr brings.

Pob lwc i chi’ch dau! 💪⚡️

Rydym yn falch iawn o’r cynnydd maent wedi’i wneud, ac mae wedi bod yn wych gweld eu hyder yn tyfu a hwythau’n dod yn rhan bwysig o dîm Dinefwr.

Mae Sion ac Iwan ill dau yn siaradwyr Cymraeg hefyd, sy’n ein helpu i barhau i ddarparu gwasanaeth gwirioneddol leol i’r cymunedau rydym yn gweithio ynddynt.

Dymunwn bob llwyddiant iddynt wrth iddynt ddechrau Blwyddyn 2, ac edrychwn ymlaen at weld beth ddaw yn sgil y bennod nesaf gyda Dinefwr.

⚡ This one’s been working undercover for a few months… 👀

Since arriving earlier this year, our newest team member has been quietly getting on with the job without looking very Dinefwr at all!

Today, it’s finally been dressed in our company colours and we think it’s fair to say it’s looking the part! ⚡🧡 💚 💙⚡

But there’s something a little different about this one - it’s 100% electric!

As your local electrical and renewable energy company, we spend our days helping homes and businesses make positive changes in the way they use and generate energy - so it feels only right that we’re making some of those changes ourselves too.

With much of our work taking us around Carmarthenshire and the surrounding areas, adding our first fully electric van is another small but positive step towards reducing the impact of our own day-to-day operations. 🌱

And if you’re considering making the switch to an electric vehicle yourself, we can help you get ready at home too. 🔌

Dinefwr Electrical & Solar are OZEV-approved installers, supplying and installing EV chargepoints for homes and businesses with eligible customers able to access £500 grant funding towards the cost of their installation.

Whether you’re eligible for a grant or not, we’re always happy to advise on the right EV charging solution for you.⚡

A big thank you to Boomerang Sign & Design for another fantastic job on the signwriting - we think it looks great and now it’s finally wearing the Dinefwr colours, you might actually recognise us when you see us out and about! 👋

This week's clean upgrade completed at this stunning welsh cottage in Mid Wales ⚡️

Following a recent re-roof, the solar panels had already been installed by the customer's roofing contractor when we were asked to complete the installation ready for a 6.0kW Eleven Energy system 🌱

The customer has also opted for a myenergi eddi solar diverter, allowing surplus solar energy once the batteries are full to be diverted into the hot water immersion and also a night storage heater to provide additional warmth to the property ☀️🏡

We’ve also installed an EPS (Emergency Power Supply) backup system covering the borehole pump and selected kitchen sockets - meaning that in the event of a grid failure, the property can still have access to fresh water and enough power to boil the kettle for a brew ☕💧

Eleven Energy’s innovative sodium battery technology offers a safer, more sustainable approach to energy storage, with excellent performance and reliability.

If you’re looking to upgrade an existing solar system or explore battery storage, get in touch.

Another local install completed 🌞⚡🔋

This one is an 18-panel system (8.10kW), with 9kWh of Eleven Energy battery storage to follow once stock arrives.

The solar side is already up and running, and we’ve fitted optimisers across the array to help maintain strong performance even with some shading across the roof.

A great setup that will make a real difference to how this home uses its energy day to day - especially as we head into the brighter months.

If you’re local and thinking about solar or battery storage, feel free to get in touch 📧 https://dinefwrelectricalsolar.com/contact/

What a way to start our Spring solar installs - with a bit of sunshine ☀️

A sleek install in a setting that speaks for itself. Rolling hills, a castle in the horizon and a system designed to sit quietly in the background.

Just waiting for the Eleven Energy sodium battery which will take things to the next level for this customer and is expected to reduce grid reliance by up to 75% ⚡️🔋
