6 Weeks Off Hard Work Is Nearly There.

Green Fold School may be closed to children for the summer ☀️ ….. but did you know our amazing central team are working on rotation 7am - 4pm everyday to ensure all four of our wonderful buildings are ready for the children to return on 3rd September 2026!! 🩷

- maintenance on our 4 sensory rooms, immersive room, medical rooms, school halls, hygiene suites, offices, playgrounds and classrooms!
- painting classrooms, doors, fences and workspaces
- jet washing external spaces
- fire equipment and alarm tests
- updating hygiene suites
- repairing resources
- clearing debris
- ordering and replacing equipment
- updating car parking signage
- supporting class teams with adaptations to rooms ( ‘could we JUST have a new coat hook there … please’ 🥰)
and supporting external contractors to :
- create a new sensory room at Lower Site ( activity thank you we can’t wait to see it complete!! )
- re fence areas of the playgrounds ( thank you!)
- update flooring at uppersite ( thank you to Keith and the team Regional Flooring )
- paint areas that need a full revamp ( thank you Adam Jones)
- fit new smart boards where required ( Imran and team thank you !)
- fit new fire doors where required
- change the filters in any AC units
- re tarmac play spaces
- new storage sheds and bases
- replacing sleepers and retaining walls
As well as supporting in the final few weeks of work at Green Fold School ! ⭐️
Our finance, administration and HR teams have also continued to work throughout the break to ensure that we are fully prepared to focus on the children on our return.
