🌿 Three new workshops at Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden 🌿

Whether you want to get better at identifying plants, make the most of autumn in the garden, or finally get to know your trees, we’ve got a workshop coming up for you.

🌼 What’s That Plant? – get hands-on with real plants, learn how to recognise their key features, and build confidence identifying the plants you see around you.

🍂 Seeds, Fruits & Other Autumn Treasures – explore autumn seeds and fruits, collect seed, divide perennials, and discover practical ways to make the most of the season in your garden.

🌳 Discovering Trees – get outdoors, learn how to recognise common trees from their leaves, bark, buds and other features, and discover more about the trees growing around you.

No previous experience needed.

📣 COMMUNITY GRANT/FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: Grants of up to £5,000 available for projects that conserve the environment through biodiversity, develop public gardens and advance horticultural education.

Eligible projects include:
🌱 The creation of new public garden spaces
🌱 Restoration of historic gardens
🌱 Horticultural research and publications
🌱 …and other related projects.

Funded by The Stanley Smith (UK) Horticultural Trust.
