Continuing our support with Saville & Woods on one of their commercial properties, we’re bringing it back up to standards following on from a recent electrical test that was carried out by another contractor. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

“It should be okay it’s not long been installed” 🤦🏻‍♂️🫣

Crazy some of the things we come across when testing, this one in particular is a primary school.

Our engineers have been on site at Kingsway Special School in Chadderton, carrying out an EICR on behalf of Casserly Property Management

Worth saying, the staff there have been brilliant with our team and it was genuinely good to see the level of care that goes into supporting the children on site.

Another compliance testing job nearing completion and a nice reminder of why the work behind the scenes matters. 🙏

A bit of out of hours working over the weekend for some of our team.

LED lighting upgrades and an additional radial supply circuits ran in for new machinery, working from a MEWP in some really tight spaces 👏🏼👏🏼

2 weeks ago, we kicked off a large-scale EICR testing programme at RPC Paving Solutions in Ruthin, it’s fair to say this one’s keeping us on our toes.

The site spans 15 buildings, covering workshops, offices and various production areas. Getting the planning and preparation right for a project of this scale, in a fully live working environment, was no small feat, but that’s exactly what we do best.

Early findings have identified some significant issues with ageing electrical components and wiring. It’s a timely reminder of just how important regular electrical testing is, especially on sites that have been running hard for many years.

Will keep updates coming as the programme progresses. 👷⚡

We visited in centre yesterday to take a look at some of their gondola lighting stands that have stopped working.

The first was nice and easy and just needed a new fuse in the plug top which is now now back up and running fine.

The other is an issue with the internal driver inside the gondola itself and the manufacturers will be coming out to fix

All in all a good visit and another happy customer 🫡💡💡💡

We’ve just completed the installation of 29 new emergency light fittings with emergency key switches in this lovely church in Wrexham 🙏✝️

Previously the church had no emergency lighting, now they’re fully complaint and future-proofed ⚡️💡

Had a callout to this little beauty for one of our long standing customers.

A 32A 3 phase commando socket and plug which is used to charge their site forklift trucks, had burnt out due to a loose connection.

We’ve cut back the burnt cables and re-terminated both socket and plug top correctly, all tested and now ready for use again once the FLT company give the go ahead after their inspection 💪🏼👌🏼
