🌳 Large Dead Poplar Pollard Removal 🌳

Over the weekend we tackled this large dead poplar pollard, situated in a tight garden surrounded by sheds, fencing and other obstacles.

Using a MEWP, we carefully dismantled the tree section by section, bringing everything down in a controlled manner to avoid damage to the surrounding property.

With very limited space to work with, careful planning and controlled dismantling were key throughout the job. Safely removed and brought down to ground level. 👌🌳

Another successful railway vegetation management project completed by the SNC Forestry team.

This section had become heavily overgrown, with several trees leaning over neighbouring houses and gardens. The larger trees at the rear were climbed and carefully dismantled due to their size and location, while the remaining vegetation was cleared to open the site back up.

The taller trees had also been causing ongoing issues for the neighbouring properties, dropping large amounts of leaves into gutters and onto roofs, resulting in repeated blockages and increased maintenance.

All works were carried out safely alongside the railway, with careful planning to protect both the rail infrastructure and the surrounding properties.

A huge transformation that has improved safety, reduced future maintenance, and completely changed the appearance of the site. 💪🌿

🌳 Large Hazardous Tree Dismantles Completed 🌳

A recent project involving the safe removal of two large, heavily decaying chestnut trees.

One tree was leaning over the railway, while the other was positioned above a row of garages, making careful planning and the right equipment essential.

Using a Merlo fitted with a grapple saw, we safely dismantled the main crowns in controlled sections. A MEWP was then used to remove the lower limbs over the garages, ensuring nothing was dropped onto the buildings below.

With extensive internal decay throughout both trees, a controlled dismantle was the only safe option. All timber was processed and left neatly stacked on site ready to be removed in a large roll on roll off bin, with all brash and debris cleared to leave the site safe and tidy.

A satisfying one from this week in Clanfield! 🌿

This boundary hedge was well overdue for some attention, so we gave it a full trim all the way round, bringing it back to a neat, level finish while keeping it healthy and tidy.

The difference speaks for itself clean lines, crisp edges, and a much smarter look from every angle. It’s jobs like these that show how much of an impact a professional hedge cut can make.

Another transformation completed in Petersfield 🌿✂️

A recent hedge maintenance job where we brought these mature boundary hedges back into shape, giving the property a much cleaner, neater finish while maintaining plenty of privacy.

We also cleared out an overgrown area behind the garage, removing unwanted privet and vegetation to open the space up and make it much easier to maintain.

It’s amazing what a difference a good tidy up can make to the overall appearance of a property.
