Happy Friday everyone!
A quick progress update from one of our current projects.
The first few photos show where we started, and the others show where we’re up to so far.
This one is still very much a work in progress, with plenty left to do over the next couple of weeks, but I always think it’s important to show the journey as well as the finished result.
So far we’ve lifted sections of the floor, resolved a number of creaks, installed a new partition stud wall, created a new doorway, carried out plastering works, and started building and fitting the bespoke bedroom furniture.
All of the furniture has been made from scratch on site and built specifically for the room. The carcasses have now been assembled, levelled and positioned, ready for the next stage of the project and the finishing touches that will really bring everything together.
One thing I was taught early on was that first fix should be every bit as neat and organised as the finished second fix. A clean, tidy site gives customers confidence that the same care is going into the work itself.
These photos were taken as we packed up for the weekend. Everything left clean, organised and ready for a productive start on Monday morning.
Looking forward to seeing this one come together over the next couple of weeks.
