⚠️ Dangerous electrical installation found!

Whilst carrying out other work at a property, we discovered an external socket supplying both a hot tub and an ice bath.

The existing supply cable was undersized and unsuitable for the environment, creating a potentially serious electrical safety risk.

Thankfully, we caught it before something went wrong.

🔧 We removed the existing cable and replaced it with correctly sized SWA (steel wire armoured) cable, providing a much more suitable and robust installation for the outdoor environment.

✅ Correctly sized cable
✅ Suitable for the installation
✅ Safe and compliant installation
✅ Peace of mind for the customer

It’s a good reminder that just because an electrical installation is already there, doesn’t mean it’s safe or compliant.

✨ TV Socket Installation – Neat, Professional & Discreet

Another TV socket installation completed with a focus on keeping the finished result as clean and unobtrusive as possible.

To conceal the cabling, we installed decorative wood-effect trunking, carefully routed to minimise the visibility of the cable run while maintaining a tidy, professional finish.

Job Completed Last Week! ⚡

Another happy customer and another electrical installation completed to a high standard.

At this property, we carried out a full EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) on two consumer units to identify any existing faults before installing a brand-new 18th Edition surge-protected RCBO consumer unit, ensuring the property’s electrical installation is safe, compliant, and ready for years of reliable service.

As part of the work, we also:
✔️ Installed a new dedicated cooker circuit, as the existing cooker switch was positioned directly above the cooker and hob, improving both safety and compliance.
✔️ Fitted a stylish black outdoor weatherproof socket at the front of the property, giving the customer safe and convenient access to outdoor power.

If you’re looking for a trusted local electrician in Lincolnshire, whether you need an EICR, consumer unit upgrade, new circuits, outdoor sockets, fault finding, or any domestic electrical work, we’re here to help.
