There’s something wonderfully calming about water moving through natural stone! 💧

This bespoke tiered stream was carefully built using stacked natural stone, creating a series of gentle falls into a lower pool. Behind the beauty, there’s plenty of technical detail and hard graft involved : from selecting and positioning each stone to shaping the levels, managing the flow and installing a discreet recirculating water system.

The result is movement, light play and a soothing sound that can help mask background noise, turning the garden into a more peaceful place to sit and unwind. It also brings valuable wildlife interest, giving birds somewhere to drink and bathe while attracting insects and pollinators.

Ferns and aquatic planting have been integrated around the feature so it feels organic and established, rather than bolted onto the garden.
