For my Tier 1 paid Patreon members there are some Workshop sale goodies over the Oil City Pickups site. The login code is on the Patreon post! Enjoy :-) For those who aren't members ... I will be putting the pickups in the sale on my general sale page, but not till members have had their pick and not for quite such big discounts. Membership costs less than a large coffee a month ... and saves you HUNDREDS.

Sadly I'm still having to explain why, for the moment, Oil City no longer supplies pickups to the United States. The main reason for this is the Tariff system imposed by the US - which is expensive and difficult to negotiate. We are a tiny company and export to no other country in the world is as difficult or as unpredictable. The unpredictability is due to decisions on tariffs and indeed all foreign policy being made on a whim of largely one person, and that uncertainty is not something I am prepared to burden my own business with.

For those of you who liked my series on that forum that shall not be named - about rebuilding my eBay £50 double bass 'Frankie' - you can find it restored with all its pictures here :-)

This was originally published on a couple of forums - unfortunately the images on those sites disappeared when Imgur pulled out of the UK.

As promised - when my Patreon tier 1 members have had the pick of my sample/demo/ cancelled order pickups I have opened a site page where you can see what's on offer! Don't contact me here if there's something you want, email me following the email address link on the site - this'll save confusion! If you want more discount - you can become a tier 1 member for less than the price of a cup of good coffee a month ... and get discount on all my range too!
