Roof tiled, velux windows installed, all water tight. With the scaffolding down anthracite kitchen window, side door and ally bi-folds fitted. Now we can start external groundwork’s.

Brickwork up, scaffold up so well underway cutting the roof just in time for the sunshine. A wrap around roof pitched onto a flat section keeping it parallel to the angle of the extension, the side and back rafters are a different pitch so the hip was a bit of a bastard if you know what I mean.

A bit of drainage then up to damp for oversite.

After a lot of demolition and excavation footings were dug and filled back up again. The side will be built at an angle so very against the grain.

With the weather warming up recently and drier periods we’ve managed to get back to the berkhamsted job to complete the render and give the patio a good clean and tidy ! Looking good , ready for summer BBQ’s 👌🏻

New job started this week in Leighton buzzard. Single storey side and rear wrap around extension. Lots of demolition to begin with and battling the elements. Our grab lorry provider also broke down so had a bit of a set back there too! Garage is now gone patio’s removed and majority of oversite scraped down, rear structures coming down next week and aiming to get footings dug and poured also 🤞🏻 for weather ! Then we can start building back up again !

WC last major job inside, also wallpaper this space with that pattern wallpaper anything.

To make more room for a larger utility we moved the original downstairs loo, under the stairs with some handy storage.
