A satisfying one-day gate repair completed recently.

The gates had become damaged over time, so I carried out the repairs and sanded everything back to give them a new lease of life and get them looking smart again. Always nice to restore something rather than replace it where possible.

Really enjoyed making these bespoke tables for a local primary school recently. Handmade to a specific brief, they needed to be bright, durable, easy to clean and safe for everyday use — all part of helping create a fun and creative space for the pupils.

These were made for an area where I also recently built some custom storage cupboards, so it’s great to see the whole space coming together.

I always enjoy making bespoke furniture, as well as repairing, adapting and improving existing pieces to give them a new lease of life.

A couple of bespoke pieces finished recently using off-the-shelf materials for a clean industrial style look. Budget friendly with style.

The project included a custom magazine rack and a large mobile DJ counter with built-in storage, all made to suit the space and how it’s used day to day. Simple, practical and hard-wearing with a modern feel.

I enjoy taking on bespoke furniture projects like this — whether it’s something completely custom built, alterations to existing furniture, or practical storage solutions designed around your space.

Custom storage cupboards recently completed for a local primary school as part of a larger project to brighten and transform the space, designed by Georgina at Two Eight One.

I designed and built the storage specifically for the space to fit in with the wider vision for the project, creating practical and durable storage that works for everyday school use while adding to the overall look and feel of the room.

A really enjoyable project to be involved in and an honour to help bring such a creative and colourful space together for the pupils.

I design and build bespoke storage and fitted furniture for homes, schools and businesses, working alongside some of the best carpenters in the Midlands.

Before and after of original timber windows upgraded from single glazing to slimline double glazed heritage units / suitable for period properties and conservation areas.

These windows were repaired, repainted and had their new glass fitted with fresh putty before being reinstalled.

Before and after of a bathroom store cupboard upgrade.

The original doors and frame were replaced with new, handmade doors built from reclaimed oak. After looking into sheet materials and finding textured oak boards at close to £1000 per sheet, it quickly became clear that hand making the doors from was not only better quality, but also better value for the client.

Finished in a hard wax oil to protect the timber while keeping the oak looking beautiful and warm.

I loved working on this old cabinet that my client’s found in their attic. They liked the shape and wanted to give it a new lease of life.

After treating it for woodworm, removing the flaky paint, making a few repairs, and fitting new handles, it’s now looking better than ever.
