First class EV installation. Glenfield came out to look and inspect (others dis by photo!) , researched best choice for our 3 phase set up. Were able to install within 2 weeks (others were “too busy” and months!). Product is great and install was very straight forward. Price was sensible as well.

We are absolutely delighted with our new solar panel system and can’t thank Glenfield Electrical enough for the fantastic service we received.

From our very first meeting, Amy took the time to understand how we use electricity, including our electric cars and future energy needs, rather than simply selling us an off-the-shelf system. Along with Nick, she patiently explained the different options, answered all of our questions, and designed a system that was perfectly suited to our home and lifestyle. We never felt under any pressure and always felt that they genuinely wanted the best outcome for us.

The installation team. George, Louis and James were equally impressive. They arrived when they said they would, were friendly, professional and incredibly hardworking. The quality of their workmanship was excellent, with real attention to detail, and they treated our home with respect, leaving everything clean and tidy at the end of each day.

What really stood out was the pride everyone took in their work and the excellent communication throughout the whole process. I have to mention Shaun too who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about its customers and delivers exactly what it promises.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Glenfield Electrical to anyone considering solar panels. The whole team behaved professionally and the work was completed within the time they said it would take. Since the installation, I have had a couple of issues (related to the parts) but these were corrected quickly without any fuss. On Friday we welcomed our local Member of Parliament, Peter Bedford MP for Mid Leicestershire, to our office to discuss our first whitepaper, A Sustainable Future for Leicestershire Business.

We talked about the growing impact of energy costs on local businesses, what organisations have already done to improve efficiency, and the barriers that are preventing wider adoption of technologies such as solar PV and battery storage.

The research made one thing clear: many businesses want to reduce their energy costs and carbon emissions, but a lack of clear information, upfront investment and practical support is holding them back.

It was a positive discussion about how businesses, industry and government can work together to remove those barriers and help more organisations take control of their energy costs.
