Afternoon all! 👋

It’s been another busy week here at JSP Plumbing & Heating, helping our customers stay safe and warm. One of the jobs we tackled this week was a gas leak in Castleford. The customer noticed a gas smell outside their property, and we quickly located the leak on the pipework. The issue was repaired straight away, leaving a very satisfied (and safe!) customer.

We are proud to be Gas Safe Registered and always encourage anyone needing gas work to look for the Gas Safe Register logo—the sign of a legally qualified engineer.

❄️ With the weather getting colder, now’s the perfect time to get your boilers checked and your heating systems ready for the winter ahead! 🔥 Here’s a look at some recent jobs we’ve completed to keep our customers warm and worry-free…

1️⃣ Baxi Duo Tech Hot Water Issue Fixed
In Methley, a regular customer was struggling with intermittent hot water. We diagnosed the problem and replaced the plate heat exchanger, restoring their hot water to full working order.

2️⃣ Boiler Over-Expansion Resolved
A customer in Garforth couldn’t run their heating without the boiler over-expanding. After some investigation, we found a blocked hose to the expansion vessel. We replaced the hose and had the boiler running smoothly again!

3️⃣ Electric Shower Replacement
In Seacroft, we upgraded an old electric shower with a new Aqualisa electric shower. The direct replacement ensured a hassle-free install and a happy customer! 🚿

Here’s a look at a few jobs we’ve recently completed:

✅ **Job in Allerton Bywater:** We replaced a faulty gas valve on an Ideal Logic heat-only boiler. The customer had been experiencing issues with fault codes appearing. After checking the boiler over, we repaired the boiler and got it back to running smoothly.

✅ **Job in Kippax:** The customer’s shower was running cold constantly. We replaced the shower cartridge, resolving the issue and leaving the shower working perfectly.

Good morning, here’s a snippet of jobs we’ve completed over the summer from fitting boilers to plumbing maintenance.

First job in Doncaster fitting a new ideal logic combi boiler with 10 years warranty parts and labour, replacing an old boiler and cylinder. We also changed all the radiator valves. The system was cleaned out using ideals chemicals.

Another job in Kippax this time, the customer had trouble with her toilet running constantly. After inspecting we replaced the fill valve and the doughnut washer. The customers booked back in for more work doing due to issues with their underfloor heating.

Again in Kippax, replacing a basin tap and waste for a regular customer.

Good evening everyone, here’s some recent jobs from the past month.

First job in Methley, replacing 5 old radiators for new designer roll top radiators. We also replaces the pipework to give them a better look.

Job in Allerton Bywater running a cold pipe in a garage to a new outside tap. On the pipework we installed an isolation valve to isolate when not in use and a double check valve to stop any contamination as well as lagging the pipework to prevent from freezing. The customers booked us back in to do some alterations to there heating system.

We’ve also been busy with boiler servicing and repairs. We worked on this ideal Logic replacing the plate heat exchanger due to intermittent hot water.

Good afternoon, here’s a couple of recent jobs.

First is a Boiler service in pudsey for a regular customer. On this job we fit a part on behalf of Ideal due to the recent Safety recalls on the Ideal boilers.

Next job was also for a regular customer in cross gates.
- We installed a new radiator in the kitchen.
- Full service on the boiler. 🔥
- Repaired leaking toilet 🚽
- Replaced broken waste pipe from Kitchen sink to outside drain as the old waste pipe was damaged.
- Cleared a blockage on the shower waste. Shower now drains away correctly 🚿

Morning everyone.

Not much posting recently due to a busy period. Here’s a number of jobs we’ve completed in the last month or so.

Hive smart thermostat installed in Allerton Bywater. We wired the thermostat to the existing y-plan. The customer decided to change the thermostat due to the old stat being faulty and wanting to operate their heating by her phone. 📱 🔥

Repipe on a water heater in Middleton. This water heater had previously been installed but not to regulations and not with the correct components and safety devices. Water heater now fit correctly to regulations and operating safely.🚨💧

1st year boiler service in Garforth on a Ideal Logic we fit last year. Always a pleasure to return to our jobs as we know the jobs being done correctly. 📅

Repipe on a unvented cylinder in Pontefract. The hot pipe on top of the cylinder clearly needed replacing and was a matter of time before it leaked. Luckily the customer caught it just in time. We also serviced the customers fire at the same time.
