We have some big news 📰

We are exhibiting our electrical and renewable services at the prestigious Hillhead Show in Buxton Derbyshire between 23-25th June 2026

We are unbelievably excited about this event, that only comes around every 4 years just like our favourite World Cup event ⚽️

We will be sharing electrical insights and knowledge to over 18,000 construction professionals from around the globe 🌍

Tickets are free, there is a brand new WiFi network for visitors, the sun 🌞 will be shining and there will be a lot of very big machinery and plant on show in the outdoor spaces

So we might of been quiet over the last few weeks

But we have been busy

We have been out at a farm in stunning east bierley today

Originally we got a call with the solar mains board tripping out

As we found the rcd to be faulty we changed this and then carried out a full solar mot on the system

We found the roof to be in fairly decent condition

But we did come across a loose connection between the isolator and the generation meter

Caused by a loose connection, this could’ve caused a full scale fire if left undetected

Solar pv installs are not install and leave, they need annual services and checks to confirm validity

Emergency call out ‼️🆘🦺

So last week we took a call from a long standing client on Monday tea time

Transformer had given up on site

And they were tasking a squad together to get this part of site back up and running ASAP

We drafted a team together and we’re on site Tuesday morning

We were tasked with the ladder racking containment installation for the HV cables to make there way to the roof, to the new TX position

Client happy installed within timeframe and in time for cable and pullers to get to site to
Install

Containment is our thing, it’s what we do

The government has announced the details of its long-awaited Warm Homes Plan which promises to cut energy bills.

So before Christmas we were tasked with carrying out an inverter swap on a commercial building on Quayside Newcastle

This inverter had been in position a number of years prior to it giving in at the back end of last year

And what’s obvious in this video is, you don’t need to have 20 years electrical knowledge to see that this could’ve been a lot worse

Solar pv installations need maintaining annually as a minimum, as you can see on this video some of the MC4 connections had completely melted away

Even though this inverter was sited on a roof, it still could have caught fire, especially left in this state through the summer months

So now the dust has settled and we are well into the new year

A chance to reflect on 2025

Last year was a crazy year, some absolutely mammoth projects completed by the team

2025 was full of highs and lows as a business owner you go through

We completed a leisure centre 9 month refurb project in Newbury, we carried out a very challenging site wide industrial LV supplies to a large warehouse in Corby, lighting installation in the Cotswolds and 78 other commercial and industrial projects in the Yorkshire regions

We have already had some really positive conversations for the year ahead and have some very good things in the pipeline

As always we will try and showcase as much as we can

And if we can be of any assistance for any electrical needs in commercial or industrial landscapes we are always here to help

Let’s see what 2026 brings 😬
