🌳 Ash dieback removals 🌳

Our team recently removed several ash trees in poor health alongside a road and public footpath.

One of the trees had already suffered a failure over the road. With ash dieback, cavities and other defects affecting the remaining trees, removal was needed to reduce the risk of further failures.

Using a MEWP, we carefully dismantled the trees in sections, working around the nearby overhead lines and roadside infrastructure, before chipping the branches and tidying the site.

A great effort from the lads throughout. 👏

Keanan made a great job of carefully dismantling this large poplar after it shed a major limb over the neighbour’s bar and shed.

With several sheds, BT lines and the highway directly below, there were plenty of obstacles to work around. Every section had to be carefully lowered and controlled before the tree was taken down to a safe pollard.

We managed to fit this urgent job in quickly for a worried customer, leaving the tree safe and giving them some much-needed peace of mind.

Top work from Keanan on a challenging job. 🌳
