I had the dreaded Wayne Dalton insulated sectional door in Brereton Heath today. The customer heard a bang and the motor couldn't lift the door. I took the mechanism apart and found that 1 of the 2 inner springs had snapped. I took the two springs away to a supplier, who replaced the pair. I reinstalled the mechanism and now it's working great.

This job is done over a period of time as the springs need to be sent away. Wayne Dalton door springs can be replaced, despite what some garage door repairers may tell you.

In Werrington, Stoke, I replaced this Henderson Premier canopy spring. The old one had bent, which had caused it to open and close roughly and cause the side tension cables to jump off the cones.

I fitted a brand new top spring, which came with new cones and cables and the door literally works like new.

Over in Prenton, Birkenhead, this Henderson up and over canopy door was in need of some TLC. Both tension cables had snapped and there was no key for the lock. I replaced both tension cables and fitted a new handle with 2 keys.

A Henderson Premier in Stoke, Werrington to be precise. The side tension had jumped off and the customer had to cut the cables to close it. We replaced both cables and retensioned the spring, so now it can be used correctly again.
