🏡🧼 DOZENS OF TRADES, HUNDREDS OF AMAZING VOLUNTEERS… AND JUST ONE EXTERNAL CLEANING & WINDOW CLEANING COMPANY! 🥳👏

Last year, we were incredibly proud to be part of the BBC One Show’s DIY SOS team, helping to transform a home for a very special young boy called Dan.

Dan had spent three years in hospital, unable to return home because his house wasn’t suitable for his complex care and rehabilitation needs.

This story was particularly close to our hearts because Dan had originally been in hospital at exactly the same time as my own son was unwell. Knowing that, three years later, Dan was still unable to go home, we knew we had to do whatever we could to help. ❤️

So, alongside my brother and my son, we spent five unforgettable days working with an incredible team of tradespeople and volunteers, all coming together for one amazing cause.

And what an experience it was! We found ourselves doing all sorts of jobs that had absolutely nothing to do with cleaning, learning new skills, getting stuck in and working alongside some truly amazing people. The dedication, generosity and teamwork on display were simply incredible.

This Tuesday at 8pm, the programme will air on BBC One, and it’s a moment we’re incredibly proud to look back on.

For a small, family-run external cleaning and window cleaning business, to be part of something this special was a real privilege. We might have been the only company in our line of work involved, but we were proud to roll up our sleeves and play our part. 💙

Sometimes, business is about so much more than cleaning windows, driveways and patios. It’s about being part of your community, helping others wherever you can and remembering what really matters in life.

Proud of what we achieved, proud of my brother and son, and incredibly proud to have played a small part in making a huge difference to Dan and his family. 🏡❤️

Proud to say we got this started and safer before the schools went back. Every little helps and love the community support 😊🏡🥳

Actions not words Councillor Adam Brierley. Let’s keep it going.

FINALLY. THE A583 PAVEMENT IS BEING CLEARED PROPERLY. 👏

After months of campaigning with Mr Clean and Andrew Snowden MP, the County Council has finally started clearing the pavement properly. Not just cutting the bushes back, but clearing the full width of it.

LCC missed their own deadline and left it so long that we ended up cutting the bushes back ourselves just to make it safer.

Now, after plenty of pressure from us and local residents, a decent chunk has been done and they’re carrying on with the rest. It’s not finished yet, but it’s finally getting sorted.

A big thank you to everyone who backed our campaign, shared the posts and kept raising it.

We shouldn’t have to campaign this hard for the basics. LCC should have sorted this months ago. It’s their job. It’s what we pay council tax for. 👊

Well said Councillor Adam Brierley.

This was the first job on my list to sort for all my local customers the beginning of August.

You rightly asked me to hold off due to being told it would be done.

Actions not words….. I’ll have this safe by bank holiday Monday, most importantly BEFORE the schools go back 😊

😡 ENOUGH EXCUSES. CLEAR THE PAVEMENT.

Back in June, the County Council told us the overgrown pavement on the A583 in Kirkham would be cleared by the end of July. It wasn’t.

Now the excuse is they need a mini excavator. We’re also told there are “higher priority works” because not many people use this path and it is still considered passable. Nonsense.

People have had to step into the road to get around it. Wesham Road Runners stopped using this stretch because of the condition.

Andrew Snowden MP and I have been pushing the Council on this for some time. We made it clear this needed sorting before the schools go back.

In the meantime, Mr Clean and I have been out cutting back bushes ourselves on Station Road and Carr Lane.

We’ll do what we can, but the County Council is paid to do this work.

They knew about it. They gave us a deadline. They missed it.

No more excuses. Get it cleared before the schools go back. 👊

Our first full video of the month long community clear ups.

First one was in and around Warton and Freckleton. Thanks to Sandra and Rob who suggested the area and helped so much on the day. They were amazing.

Please don’t forget to give us a like and share and get in touch if you could use any of the services we provide 😊🏡🧼

And a big thanks to Councillor Adam Brierley who has supported this initiative and did so much work on the Kirkham clean on our next video 👍
