It’s Friday! 🍷🥂🍾Let’s talk bars…..

Dark stone home bars are having a moment - rich, atmospheric, and unapologetically luxurious. When designers lean into deep colour palettes and expressive natural materials, the result is a space that feels both bold and intimate.

Lemurian Blue Labradorite: A gemstone‑like fusion of midnight tones and iridescent flashes. Lemurian Blue transforms a bar into a focal point - bold, luminous, and endlessly captivating under low lighting.

Jade Marble: Deep green elegance with subtle movement. Jade brings a refined, architectural calm to bar fronts and worktops, pairing beautifully with brass, walnut and moody lighting schemes.

Verde Cosmopolitan Marble: A contemporary favourite for its dark emerald base and crisp white veining. It delivers instant sophistication.

Rosso Levanto: The classic Italian breccia burgundy, charcoal and white veining woven together with dramatic intensity. Rosso Levanto adds warmth and heritage character, perfect for intimate cocktail spaces.

Together, these stones prove that dark palettes aren’t just bold - they’re timeless. Whether paired with brushed brass, smoked timber or deep cabinetry tones, dark natural stone creates home bars that feel immersive, elegant and unmistakably bespoke.

For more information about these or other luxurious stones for your home or commercial bar, don’t hesitate to contact us. Better still, drop by and you can view our selection in person.

A brand new and rarely sourced material to Cullifords.

Material: Cicala Quartzite
Finish: Soft Leather
Avg. Dimensions: 328x199cm
Thickness: 2cm
Block No. 4

Cicala Quartzite is a particularly robust Brazilian quartzite, formed when earlier quartzite pebbles were cemented together and later fractured under tectonic pressure.

Cicala quartzite contains 70–80% angular clasts, with some individual pieces reaching up to 50 cm. This complex geological history gives the stone exceptional structural resilience and a uniquely expressive visual identity.

Its surface blends gentle greens, subtle blueish greys, pinks and delicate creams, creating a calm yet striking aesthetic.

We’d highly recommend seeing and touching this stone in person, to get a true sense of its soft pastel tones and finish. Something that is hard to show on video.

No need to make an appointment, we are open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.
