Last night, the lads hit the road to take on Skirlaugh. We knew it was going to be a tough test, made even more challenging by the hot conditions.

Easts started brightly, controlling the pace of the game and keeping Skirlaugh at bay. A few handling errors led to a gruelling defensive effort from the boys, but they showed incredible resilience to keep Skirlaugh out for long periods.

Despite their determined defensive display, the lads unfortunately couldn't come away with the win. It was a closely contested battle from start to finish, and there were plenty of positives to take from the performance.

This week's Man of the Match goes to Max Lyth, who was outstanding in both defence and attack, putting in a tireless performance and pulling off some cracking shots. Congratulations, Max! 👏 Sponsored by KM Flooring
